Shirley V. Butrick, 77, of Jones, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Riverview Manor, Three Rivers.She was born October 15, 1935 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was raised by her step-father and mother, Charles and Laura (Whitehead) Elsenheimer. She married Duane Edwin Butrick on June 12, 1954 in Dowagiac. He survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons, Mark Butrick and Charles Heivilin.
Shirley and her husband, Duane, owned and operated the Bluebird Restaurants in Jones and Niles. She enjoyed playing music. Shirley liked crosswords and crocheting. She and Duane liked going to auctions and collecting antiques.Family and friends will greatly miss Shirley.
She is survived by her husband, Duane Butrick of Jones; three daughters, Lynette Pompey of South Bend, Lori (Bill) Pipher of Jones, Lisa Binns of Naples, Florida; five sons, Randy (Candy) Butrick of Battle Creek, Dana (Kathy) Butrick of Jones, Alan (Michelle) Butrick of Jones, Kirk Butrick of Jones, Timothy Butrick of Appleton, Wisconsin; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister of Missouri; and one brother, Lloyd (Dorita) Elsenheimer of Bradenton, Florida.
