Shirley Temple Slattery, 84, of Millersville passed away on September 22, 2020. Shirley was born in 1936 in Honaker, Virginia to the late Monte and Mary Miller. She was a graduate of Honaker High School. Shirley traveled all over the world with her husband while he was serving in the US Army. The last place they were stationed was in Germany. While in Maryland, she worked in Food Service at Old Mill High School once her kids were older. She also served as an Election Judge. Shirley was an active member of Heritage Community Church and was even a member of the church choir. She enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble and other board games, playing cards and ceramics.
