Shirley Marie (Liedke) Dahlem, 92, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Pleasant View Lutheran Home, Ottawa.
Shirley was born on June 14, 1929 in Racine, WI to Paul and Katherine (Stummer) Liedke.
Shirley married Donald Dahlem at Grange Avenue Methodist Church in Racine, WI in 1948. She was a member of Arlington Heights Methodist Church. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and rooting on the Cubs and Green Bay Packers and loved to bake on Christmas.
She is survived by her three children, Donald (Cheri) Dahlem, of Ladd, IL, Dennis (Larisa) Dahlem, of Gilbert, AZ, Debbie Kakoliris, of DeKalb, IL; three grandchildren, Cynthia (Dustin) Hammons, of Clearfield, UT, Kristin Dahlem, of Gilbert, AZ, Paul Kakoliris, of DeKalb; a step-grandchildren, Slava Novokreshchenov of Gilbert, AZ, Tom (Jessica) Mock, and Steve (MaryEllen) Warrick; two great grandchildren, Hailey and Chase “CJ” Hammons, of Clearfield, UT; five step great grandchildren, Mason, Brayden, and Catherine Mock, and Morgan and Simon Burcham.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, William Liedke; and her son in law, Tony Kakoliris.
