Shirley L. Conklin Lemons, age 75, of Donaldson, went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 16, 2018. She was born December 2, 1942 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Louis and Willie Mae Poteete Conklin. She was retired from Ouachita School District and a member of Donaldson Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and cooking for her family. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Charles Loyd “Buddy” Lemons, son Charles Loyd “Chuck” Lemons, sister Dorothy Anderson and brother Danny Conklin.
Survivors are her daughter Karen Ware (Rocky), daughter-in-law Cyndy Lemons, brother Edward “Ed” Conklin (Fay), grandchildren Celsy Lemons and Zack Ware, great-grandchildren Ckyler, Zander and Gray, She also had many special nieces and nephews and close friends that she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends but is now walking in the presence of the Lord.
