Passed away Friday evening June 19, 2020. Shirley was born May 22, 1930 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Swier and Dena (Izenbaard) Koning. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the State of Michigan for 20 years before retiring.
Shirley was a member of Haven Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; Andrew VanDenBos, the father of her children; her husband, Robert K. Luckey; a grandson, Niel VanDenBos; 5 brothers, Harry, John, Earl, Ralph, and Norm; 3 sisters, Nellie, Doris, and Elleen.
She is survived by 4 children, Jerry (Colleen) VanDenBos of Paw Paw, James (Eva) VanDenBos of McLean, VA, Robert (Joni) VanDenBos of Martin, MI, and LouAnn VanDenBos of Kalamazoo; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a step daughter, Kelli (Scott) Morrison; a step grandchild, and 2 step great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Koning of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews.
