She lived in Anderson for 52 years. She was a homemaker and had worked for 29th Street Elementary School cafeteria for 11 years. She was a member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ.
She is survived by her Husband whom she married October 21, 1951: Charles E. Callender. Five Children: Terry & wife Amelda Callender of Delphi. Deborah & husband Mark Alexander of Frankton. David & wife Anna Callender of Anderson. Jeffrey Callender of Anderson.
Sheila & husband Bruce Braden of Anderson. Six Siblings: Jack & wife Carmen Kinser of Duluth, Georgia. Irene Skaggs of Brownsville, Kentucky. James & wife Patty Kinser of Middletown, Ohio. Ronald & wife Betty Kinser of Normal, Illinois. Gloria & husband Randall Miller of Crestview, Kentucky. Betty & husband Joseph Deckard of Bloomington. Grandchildren: Samuel Callender, Andrew Callender, Brian Callender, Stephen Callender, Riley Alexander, Drew Alexander, Lindsay Callender, Kiely Callender, Chad Callender, Sara Braden and Jesse Braden.
Also surviving are Two Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded by her Parents: Riley T. & Maggie Elizabeth Ashley Kinser. Sister: Frances G. McGrew of Battle Creek, Michigan.
