Shirley Jean Tessendorf, 63, of Pearl City, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born May 5, 1946 in Freeport she was the daughter of Oscar and Myrtle (Howard) Heinrich. Shirley was a Postal Worker for 28 years in Pearl City.An outdoor lover she enjoyed camping, bird watching and flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren at the lake.
Surviving is her father, Oscar Heinrich of Pearl City; her children, Laura (Tim) Diehl of Rockford, Samuel Bryant of Freeport, Billy Brown of Pearl City, Mark (Bonnie) Tessendorf, Dan (Nancy) Tessendorf, Jodi Veer, Rose (John ) Jacobs all of Rockford; 1 brother, Jerry (Karen) Heinrich of Pearl City; 1 sisters, Linda (Bill) Woitynek; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
