Shirley Mae (Roberts) Fales, age 71, of Spirit Lake, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009, at the Milford Care Center. She was born on September 22, 1937, in Ayrshire, Iowa, to Dale and Viola (Strohman) Roberts.
Shirley was active in crafts, hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening and teaching hunter education for the DNR for over twenty years.
She also worked on many church committees, girl scout leader and was a board member of the Upper Des Moines.Shirley is survived by her husband of 55 years, Eugene Fales of Spirit Lake
