Shirley E. O’Connor, age 83 of Midland, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Brittany Manor Assisted Living. The daughter of the late William and Marie (Myers) Merrill was born on December 30, 1933 in Midland. On August, 18, 1956, Shirley married Jerry O’Connor at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church. After 14 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on June, 25, 1971
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Maureen (Mark) Ellis of Midland, Jerilyn O’Connor of Midland; grandchildren, Mark, Brent, Matthew, Annalisa, Jerry, and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Darran O’Connor.
