Shirley J. Bixel passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 after a long and eventful life of travel and family, she was 85. She was the support and foundation for her family during many adventures throughout the country and on the opposite side of the world. Shirley, along with her husband Chuck provided their children with the opportunities to experience life from many different perspectives along with the guidance to prepare them for life’s challenges. She is missed and will be forever appreciated and loved for who she was.
Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Michael S. Bixel and last year by her longtime husband Chuck Bixel. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl and her son, Gil Bixel and his wife, Kathy.
