Shirley Ann Wolfe, age 66, of Salem died at 11:58 p.m. Friday December 7, 2012 at the Salem Community Hospital. She was born October 2, 1946 in Turbotville, Pennsylvania the daughter of the Grace (Plotts) Menges and the late Claire Menges. Shirley worked for 16 years for Lowe’s Home Improvement in Boardman. Previously she was a beautician. She was a graduate of Warrior Run High School in Turbotville. Shirley and her husband operated Shirley’s Creations and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and embroidering. She was a member of the Professional Towers of Ohio, a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Stars in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and Methodist by faith. Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Wolfe, whom she married November 12, 1967; a son, Denvius Wolfe of Salem; a daughter, Cheryl (Bryan) Campbell of Rhome, Texas; a brother, Scott (Sue) Menges of Stratford, Oklahoma; a twin sister, Sandra (Jerry) Smith of Milton, Pennsylvania and 3 grandchildren, Joshua Campbell, Tyler Campbell and Shelby Wolfe. A son, Eugene Wolfe and a brother Roger Menges also preceded her in death.
