Shirley Ann Witcher was embraced by her Heavenly Father on May 28, 2021. Shirley was born in Lampasas, Texas on August 22, 1935, to Albert and Iva Mae Cloud. She graduated from Brownwood High School and Secretarial School. In 1954, Shirley married John Herbert Witcher and, after traveling the United States while John served in the United States Air Force, they settled in Valparaiso, Florida where they raised their four children. John and Shirley owned Witcher Electronics and The Swing Set Children’s Clothing Store in Valparaiso. They later retired to Holt, Florida. Shirley enjoyed oil painting, decorating wedding cakes and baking her legendary lemon meringue pie. She loved Jesus, her family, snow, the beach, cats and chocolate. She also loved to work crossword puzzles and laugh. She taught her children and grandchildren to love Jesus and each other. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jean Cloud Edwards, her brother Albert Joe Cloud and her son-in-law, Charles Boltz. Remaining to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 66 years, John Herbert Witcher of Crestview and children Jon David Witcher (Pam) of Crestview, Cathy Henderson Brown (Steven) Monticello, Georgia, Susan Witcher Card (Darrell) of Holt and Sandra Witcher Boltz of Milton.
