Shirley went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 2, 2018 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Shirley was born on March 29, 1935 to Hollis and Soleita Holcomb in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the eldest of nine children. Her loving husband of 46 years, Howard Pressley, preceded her in death in 1996. She will always be remembered as a loving and wonderful mother by her four children: Jack Pressley (her son preceded her in death in 2014), formerly of Mountainburg, Arkansas, Doniece (Gary) Welch of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Dorinda (Dean) Lassiter of Norman, Oklahoma and Pamela (Greg) Mauldin of Moore, Oklahoma. She is survived by her three daughters and eight grandchildren: Lanette Seratt, Kara Young; Mindi Pratt; Amie Deisering; Jill Lassiter; Kate Learn; Jakki Warrick and Scott Mauldin. She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren and four siblings: Charlotte (Andy) Fontenot, Hollis (Judy) Holcomb, Gary (Phyllis) Holcomb and Susan Dougan and one sister-in-law, Sue Gittins.
Shirley will be remembered and cherished as someone who loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
