Shirley Alice Findlay Brownson
Shirley Brownson of Ogden, passed away on April 13, 2016. She was born August 10, 1932 in Ogden to Alice (Searle) and Parley Milton Findlay. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1950.
Shirley married Roy Ezra Brownson for time and eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple in March of 1951. As a member of the LDS Church she has served faithfully in several callings including: primary presidency, relief society presidency and visiting teacher.
She enjoyed traveling, reading and being with her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Roy; children, Roy Eugene (Chris) Brownson, Robyn (Don) Stanger, Pattiann (Shawn) Thomas, Sheryl Sherman: 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one sister, Donna Marie (LaVell) Sackett. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sharon Price.
