Devoted grandfather of Sarah(Matt) Rutledge, Andrew(Rachel) Cotton, Sherwood Cotton II, Matt Jr.(Amelia) Cotton, and Martha Margaret “Maya” Cotton and great-grandfather of Ashlyn and Avery. Dear brother of Knute (Joanne) Cotton and Arliene Oey. He was preceded in death by brothers Hiram Ellsworth, Wendell, Raymond and Dean and sister Charlotte VanMilligan.
