Sherryl Lynn Dombeck, age 64, of Elizabeth, IL passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Monroe Hospice Home. She was born in Hattiesburg, MS on March 18, 1955, to the late Keith and Doris (Olson) Andre. Sherryl married George Dombeck on June 21, 1975, in Wheaton, IL.

She was a 1973 graduate of Glenbard East High School in Lombard. Sherryl was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Galena where she served as the Prayer Team Champion and played on the Worship Team. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved people and had a kind heart. Sherryl loved horses and Oak Creek Stables and enjoyed owning Cocoa Tree Chocolate Store in Stockton.  She also loved to read, learn new things, and spend time with her family. Her grandchildren were among her greatest joys. The hours she spent serving as a La Leche League Leader and Midwife were some of her most rewarding experiences.

Sherryl is survived by her husband, George Dombeck of Elizabeth; her daughter, Kimberlee (Clark) Hazer of Stockton, IL; her sons, Richard (Katie) Dombeck of Machesney Park, IL, and Jody (Jennifer) Dombeck of Hanover, IL; her seven grandchildren, Hannah Winter, James Dombeck, Jack Dombeck, Ezra Dombeck, Gildin Dombeck, Malin Dombeck, and Anthony Hazer; her brother, Keith (Diane) Andre of Frisco, NC; her sisters, Debbie (Steven) Pagel of Tolono, IL and Allison (Dennis) Curtis of Cedar Falls, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
