Sherry Lynn Logullo, 67, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, February 10th, 2015 at her home with her family. She was born October 23, 1947 in Centralia, daughter of Jess and Louise (Davis) Helpingstine.

She married David Pierceall on September 7, 1968 and he preceded her in death. She married Louis R. Logullo on July 16, 1988 and he survives in Centralia. In addition to her husband, she is survived by six daughters: Jennifer (Pierceall) Herman and husband Jerry of Co., Sara (Pierceall) Barton and husband Dan of Belleville, Emily ( Pierceall) Mach and husband Ross of Ne., Monica (Logullo) Miller and husband Terry of Tx., Tracy (Logullo) Francois and husband Joe of Centralia, Jayme Logullo and fiance Jason McCorkle of Centralia; 13 grandchildren: Audra, Ameila, and Carter Herman, Gabrielle and Isabelle Barton, Brady and Bennett Mach, Ashley, Abigail, and Zach Miller, Lillian and Madison Francois and Savana Hartnell; one great-grandchild, Doran Miller; a brother: Rick Helpingstine and wife Sonya of Florida; a sister: Linda (Helpingstine) Stover and husband Danny of Centralia; two brother in laws: Orland Bauer of Centralia and Bob and wife Barbara Logullo of Centralia; special aunt Phyllis and Uncle Paul Davis, Sherry was a flower girl in their wedding; many nieces and nephews; special friends Ron and Helen Donoho, Bob and Patti Hahn, and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband David Pierceall, and Infant sister Pamela Jean Helpingstine. Sherry graduated from Centralia Township High School in 1965. She was Co-Chairman for two class reunions and Decoration Chairman for the last twenty years. She graduated from Kaskaskia College in 1967. She attended Lakeland School of Practical Nursing and graduated in 1968. She worked in several doctors for most of her career as a LPN. She worked for the City Schools in the paraprofessional Field K. Center in ECE. Sherry was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Centralia, Charter Member Lady of the Elks, and a Lifetime Member Beta Sigma Phi, Chapter Preceptor Delta. She was also a member of the Lady of the Moose and AAUW.

She was a quilter, seamstress, an avid reader, enjoyed baking, which she won Second Place at the Hospice Ball Chocolate Contest in 2014. She had a famous Chocolate Cheesecake. Sherry was a very talented and creative painter and crafter. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid animal lover, especially with cats. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
