Sherry Kaye Yoch, nee Dennis, 77, of O’Fallon, IL, born May 31, 1940 in Anderson, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 3, 2017.
Sherry was a graduate of Holy Cross Central School of Nursing in South Bend, IN. Her heart for others and passion for OB/GYN nursing spanned over 25 years.
Sherry loved music and sang in the acapella barbershop group, The Sweet Adelines. She was a longtime member of the Junior Wednesday Club and an avid card player with her closest friends.
Sherry was an amazing woman who lived every day to the fullest. Before passing, she stated the following about her life: “I have been blessed with a remarkable life. I’ve done everything I dreamed of as a kid and a lot of things I never even dreamed of.”
Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Catt, nee Dennis and her sister, Shirley Neeley. Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years, John Yoch of O’Fallon, IL; five children, Ryan (Ilonka) Yoch of O’Fallon, IL, Kevin (Jane) Donahue of Naperville, IL, Alice (Craig) Yoch of Ottawa, Canada, Keith Donahue of O’Fallon, IL and J.R. (Kiyeon) Yoch of O’Fallon, IL; and nine grandchildren, Jon (Alisha), Elena, Jack, Paige, Jay, Adele, Cameron, Mitch and Lucas.
