Shelly J. Cherry, age 66 of Sanford, passed away Monday July 19, 2021 at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn.
The daughter of the late Donald and Fern (Moe) Francis was born in Midland on December 11, 1954 where she was raised and educated. Shelly had been employed with MidMichigan Medical Center in Food Services. She enjoyed reading, watching game shows, family gatherings especially the sister’s luncheons.
Surviving is her sons, John Cherry, Bobby (Rhianna) Cherry; brother, Steve (Linda) Francis of Sanford; sisters, Sandy Gay, Sue Dexter all of Sanford, Sherry (Bob) Armstrong of Harrison, Sindy (Bill) Spangler of Sanford; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shelly was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Cherry; son, Kyle Cherry; sister, Sally Schmidt.
