Shelia Kay Stevens Harlan of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 25, 1955 at Chatfield, the daughter of the late William Alvin and Wanda Woods Stevens. She was a member of Widner Baptist Church and attended New Life Fellowship in Sheridan. “Nana”, as she was known to her family, formerly worked at Wal-Mart and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making memories with her grandkids.
Shelia died Friday, March 4, 2011 at her home in Sheridan at the age of 56. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Neal and a brother, Alvin Lee Stevens.
Survivors include her son, Johnny and wife Vickie Neal of Wheatley; daughter, Priscilla and husband Billy Lee of Sheridan; brother, Gary Stevens of Carlisle; sisters, Debbie Webb of Sheridan, and Michelle Duncan of Lonoke; former husband, Jan Harlan, Jr. of Little Rock; step-children, Jonathan Harlan, Mandy Harlan, James Neal, Jr., Gregory Neal and Dolly Neal; Grandchildren, Matthew Lee, Breianna Lee, Monica Fought and Tyler Lindsey; 8 step grandchildren; nieces/nephews, Tracey Smith, Daniel Stevens, Amelia Stevens, Ski Webb, Miles Webb, Trey Duncan, Wanda Duncan; great nieces/nephews, Harley Smith, Courtney Smith, Chad Smith, Michelle Smith, Madison Stevens.
