Sheila J. Mann Ferguson Wilburn, 63, of Shideler, died on Friday, March 12, 2021 at her home with her loving family at her side.
Sheila was born on January 22, 1958 in Muncie, Indiana to Cecil and Nettie (Brown) Mann. She was a 1977 graduate of Delta High School and went on to work for Meridian Foods in Eaton until 2012. On January, 25, 1997 she married Robert “Bob” Wilburn in Gaston.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary AMVETS Post 12 and served as secretary for the AMVETS Riders. Sheila loved baking and was the founder and owner of Black Rose Sweets & Treats. She always looked forward to family vacations but most of all, she loved Halloween. People would come for miles to see her Halloween decorations.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert “Bob” Wilburn; son: Jeremy Ferguson (Teresa); two sisters, Shirley Troxell and Sharon Hahn (Leroy); fourteen grandchildren: Jenna Ferguson, Sabreena Ferguson (Jake Weaver), Allen Ferguson, Jordan Vore (Robbie), Andrea Lamb (Arthur), Grace Overla (Ben Goodson), Caine Hudson, Odin Ferguson, Ivan Ferguson, Jeff Mitchell, Jeremy Mitchell (Jamie), Tiffany Vandenberg (Brian), Shawn Michael Wilburn and Robert Wilburn as well as nine great-grandchildren and three nieces: Sara Streit (Joe), Nina Bartling (Kenny) and Tina Thompson.
