Sheila Hammontree, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 9, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters, and her dear friend and partner, Julia (Gail) Shelton. She is survived by her daughter-in-heart, Jennifer Quinton; granddaughters-in-heart, Asley Boatwright (Andrew), Kristen Quinton, Whitney Ellis; grandsons-in-heart, Dyllon Hall and Maddox Boatwright who will always carry a part of her in their hearts. Special thanks to dear friends who were there, Cricket, Jessica and Kim, her case workers and her faithful pet, Smokey.
