Shayna Paigie “Bright Eyes” Baker, 15, of Smithfield passed away on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born September 14, 1992 in Clarksburg a daughter of Michael Baker and Crystal Hayhurst Baker. She is also survived by one brother, Joshua Allen Baker; one sister, Hailey Jo Baker; maternal grandmother, Sheryl Stout; paternal grandfather Michael Baker, Sr.; Step grandfather, Bruce Stout; several aunts and uncles; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother, Cory Michael Scott; maternal grandfather, Larry W. Hayhurst; paternal grandmother, Shirley Myrtle Slider. Shayna was a student at Valley High School in Pine Grove and she enjoyed running track, playing basketball, camping and being outdoors. Shayna was a loving daughter, grand daughter, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
