Shawn M. “Choco” Cadden, 49, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2022 while in the care of St. Luke’e Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Heather A. (Woolley) Cadden with whom she shared over 22 years of loving marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Sue Ann (Wittman) Zeleski and the late Jerry Cadden. Shawn was a graduate of Dieruff High School, class of 1990. He was employed by Hatfield as a smoke meat injector and most recently employed by Empire LLC. Shawn enjoyed playing poker and occasionally stirring the pot. He was the first one up for a good debate. From sports to movies.
Shawn played baseball from 9 years old at East Side Memorial until he was 15 years old and then for Dieruff High School and Stahley’s and Jordan Creek in the Tri-County Men’s League. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Boston Red Sox, Notre Dame and Georgetown Basketball fan.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Heather and mother Sue Zeleski, he will be remembered by his daughters Kayla Cadden and Kaycee Cadden of Allentown; sister Stacey Oswald of Kunkletown; mother and father in law Cathy and Kenneth Woolley of Allentown; 11 nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
