He graduated from Niceville High School in 1977. He went on to obtain a Bachelors Degree from Southern Miss University in computer science. He was the first person to receive a music scholarship without being required to major in music. While in college, he co-opted with the Department of Navy writing software to map the ocean floor. He was employed by Sita for over 20 years, holding several positions which provided the opportunity for world-wide travel. He trained numerous people in a variety of foreign countries.
His gentle nature, kind spirit, captivating smile and infectious sense of humor will be remembered and cherished by his family and numerous close friends and colleagues.
