Sharon Rose (Bartrom) Allred, age 82, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Parkview Huntington Hospital, Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Allred was born on May 23, 1940, in Huntington, IN, to the late Bonnie and Jean (Baumbauer) Bartrom. She married Jerry Allred on August 11, 1956, and they have shared 66 wonderful years of marriage together.
Sharon was self-employed with her own cleaning and janitorial service. She was a hard worker and had multiple cleaning jobs over the years including Bendix for 10 years.
Sharon was also a loving, devoted, and very proud grandmother and great-grandmother to her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; they were the center of her world.
Sharon was a lover of music, dancing, bonfires, board games, puzzles, movies and all things that gave her time with her grandchildren and family. She also enjoyed drinking coffee and spending time with her daughter, Sherry. She was fully devoted to her family and loved doing anything she could for them. She left them with full hearts and so many beautiful fun memories and for that she will be dearly missed.
Along with her husband, Jerry, she is survived by two sons, David Allred, Stanley Allred, both of Huntington; one daughter, Sherry (Stan) Dyke, Huntington; four grandchildren, Jeremey (Rebecca) Dyke, Sheena (Jonathon) Collins, Daniel Allred, David Allred; and three great-grandchildren, Khaleesi, Kerrigan and Delaney. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Danny Allred; and one daughter-in-law, Ann Allred.
