Sharon M. Scott, 74, of South Jacksonville, died Friday, March 26, 2021, at her home.
She was born Jan. 7, 1947, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Walter and Ruby Hopper Mayes.
She is survived by her two children, Cindy (Jeff) Flynn and Larry R. “Boomer” Brumley, all of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Jessi, Greg, and Tyler; eight great grandchildren with two more on the way; her sister, Sandra Garman of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon worked at Bound to Stay Bound Book Bindery in Jacksonville, retiring after over 40 years. She enjoyed playing online games and watching PBS and British television. She especially loved her baby dog, Walter.
