Sharon Kay Tate, 68 of Mount Clare passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her residence with her daughter and friends by her side. She was born on November 23, 1953 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Russell Varner and Betty Clark Varner.
Sharon graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1971. She worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the Mountaineer Mall for several years. She enjoyed gardening and horseback riding.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Loretta Tate, Mount Clare; lots of close friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Edison Lee Tate.
