Mrs. Sharon Kay Clontz of Haymarket, VA died on November 9, 2016; after a long courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Robert L. Clontz and their three daughters: Dawn Michelle Hester of Gainesville, VA; Nicole Lee Clontz of Saratoga Springs, NY; and Joy Noelle Howell of Kathleen, GA; and her five grandchildren. She is also survived by her: sister, Mrs. Eleanor Caro of Zephyrhills, FL and brother, Mr. David Snyder of New Milford, PA. Sharon is the daughter of Mr. Clair D. Snyder and Mrs. Mary Jane (McEwen) Snyder of New Bethlehem, PA and was born in Punxsutawney, PA, and graduated from Clarion Limestone High School in Limestone, PA. She attended Pennsylvania State University (was active in Chapel Choir and University Choral Choir) earning a BS in Fashion Merchandising and after her three daughters were raised attended George Mason University, in Fairfax, VA earning a MBA in Accounting and then became a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Sharon was also an accomplished vocalist, a gifted seamstress, and an outstanding quilter and embroiderer. She attended and served in various capacities, while living in northern Virginia since 1976, at both Emmanuel Baptist Church and Christian School of Manassas, VA and Centreville Baptist Church of Centreville, VA.
