Sharlene Jones Dickamore
“Together Again”
Sharlene Jones Dickamore passed away February 6, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born April 26, 1930 in Ogden, Utah to Iris Richard and Anna Laura Hodges Jones. She married Tom on December 7, 1949 and was later sealed in the Logan Temple on March 17, 1966. To this union was born ten children, four boys and six girls. She was a member of the North Ogden 3rd Ward where she held various positions as a Den Mother, 4-H leader, Primary Teacher, Relief Society Teacher, Visiting Teacher and Ward librarian for many years.
She helped raise many nieces, nephews and grandchildren and taught us all how to love unconditionally. She loved to go camping and fishing at Marsh Lake with the kids and grandchildren, gardening in both the vegetable garden and her rose garden, crocheting many afghans for family and friends, quilting, knitting, painting and embroidery work.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Catherine Nell; granddaughter, Mandy; great-grandson, Tristan; brothers, Allan and John; and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Jean (Dale) Briggs, Thomas Richard (Julie), Robert Lynn (JoLynn), Kyle Ann (Bart) Boster, Paul Arthur (Laura Lee), Merry Christine (Mike) Arnold, Iris Elaine (Ken) Schmier, Neil Upton and Sandra Lee (Kevin) Mikkelsen; her sisters, Donna, Louise, and Ethel; brothers, Ray, Kay, Glenn and William (Billy); 34 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren, plus 2 on the way.
The family would like to thank all those that helped take care of mom, especially her son, Neil and her daughter, Sandy which made her last days easier.
