Shannon T. Dollens King, 38, Anderson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 15, 2008 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. She was born May 5, 1970 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of her life.
Shannon was a loving mother, cherished daughter and sweet sister who will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful homemaker.
Shannon was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. She also loved to cook.
She is survived by her children, Cassidy King and Casey King; parents, Randy & Cindy Carter Dollens; sister, Shelby & Tym Neather-Carter; five nephews, Samuel, Seth, Sidney, Chance and TJ; grandparents, Jimmie Boone and Ralph & Betty Carter; aunt, Teresa & husband Greg Graham as well as many extended family members. Also surviving are special friends, Michelle Ball, Annie Cunningham, Faith Detro and Melanie Paulson.
