Shannon J Wharton Sr., 49, of Burbank, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 as a result of an auto accident near Burbank.
Shannon was born June 28, 1969 in Medina to Mark and Janet (Ramsier) Wharton and was a graduate of Triway High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center where he was in the Auto Body Program. He had worked in the auto body field and had also worked at International Paper. Shannon was a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion Post 651 Sons of the Legion and loved his kids and grandkids, enjoying the time spent with them.
Surviving are his parents, Mark and Jan Wharton of Wooster; his 3 children, Shannon Jr., Katelyn and Kayli; his 4 grandchildren, Mason, Brendon, Landon and Madilee; his former wife, Sherry Wharton of Shreve, and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including his aunt, Phyllis Woodward with whom he had resided.
