Shane Wm. Warehime, age 36, of Dowagiac, died Monday, September 18, 2017 at home.
He was born April 21, 1981, in Iowa City, Iowa to Donna Warehime.
He married Amber May Baxter on July 7, 2007, in Cassopolis, Michigan.
Shane was a well-loved husband, father, and son. He enjoyed football and NASCAR. In his younger years, Shane could be found fishing on the Rock River, and playing softball and basketball. He mastered Tae Kwon Do, earning a black belt. As he grew he worked in construction and loved building log homes. Shane moved to Michigan in 2006 where he met the love of his life, Amber, and started building a family. He supported his family working at Postle Aluminum in Cassopolis, starting in 2006, working his way up to supervisor by the time of his death.
Shane will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Amber Warehime; children, Cayman Warehime, Phoenix Warehime, Carrera Warehime, Tyler Baxter Greenleaf, Melanie Greenleaf; mother, Donna Warehime; sister, Heidi (Tristan) Topping; brother, Derek Davis; mother in law Marlene Baxter; and several cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Shane was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Donald Baxter, and his maternal grandparents, William and Joyce Warehime.
