Muncie-Shane T.
He attended Muncie city schools and eventually became a finisher, which he did for 28 years serving the B & L Drywall Company. Shane married Carrie (Tuttle) Swafford on August 11, 1994 in Muncie and she survives. Mr. Swafford enjoyed fishing working on cars and was known to be a fairly good “shade tree Mechanic”. Family time with his children and grandchildren were very special to him.
Besides his wife of 20 years Carrie, he is survived by two sons, Joshua Evans (fiancé- Ashley Dobbs) and Melvin Williamson, both of Muncie; one daughter, Marissa Swafford (companion-Javarius Bennett), Muncie; three grandchildren, Jayven Swafford, Nyla Evans and Aubrey Dobbs, all of Muncie; three brothers, John Swafford (fiancé-Kindra Hill), James Swafford and Donald Swafford all of Muncie; one sister, Sandra Baird (husband-DeWayne), Muncie; parents-in-law, Noel and Jan Tuttle, Sister–in-law , Alisha Tuttle and grandfather-in-law, Robert Anders, all of Muncie; several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
