Serge Edward Reynolds, 80, entered eternal rest on Oct.19, 2017. Serge was born in New York City on April 6th, 1937 to the late Jule Willams-Reynolds and Charles Reynolds, a Trinidad native. With the unfortunate passing of his mother, when Serge was only 4 years old, he was raised by his beloved grandmother, the late Martha Williams, who Serge affectionately named, “Grams”. Serge was raised in the South Bronx and educated in the New York City School System. Once he graduated high school, he made the audacious decision to join the United States Navy. Serge served our country, honorably, during the Korean War.

Upon Serge’s return to the States, he held several positions.

Although a tough man at times, nothing could soften Serge’s heart more than Jimmie Amanda Margorie Celestine Pullen. With his West Indian fire and New York City flare, Serge woo’d this sweet southern belle and they wed in 1961. From this union were born three beautiful children: Richard (Monte), Edward (Page) and Jule. Jimmie was a blessing to Serge in so many ways, but perhaps her influence to push him toward Christ was the greatest blessing he’d receive.

Jimmie and Serge left their mark with their family.

Although grieving the patriarch of our family, we take peace in knowing he is resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father and finally with his beloved “Jim Bo Bim” again. Serge was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jimmie Amanda and son, Serge “Pook” Reynolds.
