Selby Marie Jenkins, 66 of Clarksburg passed away Friday, January 3, 2014, at Heartland of Clarksburg with family by her side. She was born February 27, 1947 in Marion County, daughter of the late, Kenneth S and Perdillia E. (Helms) Trader. Selby worked at Wal-Mart in Clarksburg for over 19 years. She is survived by her husband, Luther Dwight Jenkins whom she married April 1, 1969; one son, Kenneth Dwight Jenkins and companion Misty Dawn Bailey; best friend, Jane Morris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half sister, Janice Rugg. Selby graduated from Flemington High School and was a member of the United Methodist Temple. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose Chapter 409, Lodge # 52 where she was recorder for 6 years and she received the academy of friendship award and was part of the twenty five and fifty clubs. Selby was a first responder with the Harrison County EMS and was a ladies auxiliary member. She enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband.
