Mickey was an exceptionally hard worker who developed a plan to accomplish his lifelong dream of owning a successful restaurant and motor inn. He was a past member of the board of directors for the Connecticut Restaurant Association and the Connecticut Hotel and Motel Association. Mickey spent his retirement years in Clinton and wintered in Jupiter, Florida. One of his proudest accomplishments was earning his GED the first winter he spent in retirement.
