Sean King Jones passed away on January 30, 2016 at his childhood home. He was 45. He was born in Alexandria, VA on August 5, 1971. He was the best son a mother could have, and a fantastic brother. He was always there for his family whenever they needed anything at all. He graduated from Manassas Park High School in 1989 and Savannah College of Art and Design in 1993. He was a graphic designer, first for the Journal in Fairfax, and later for the Washington Post, where he worked for the past 14 years. Sean was an avid comic book and gaming enthusiast and loved to play cards with his friends and family. He enjoyed driving to Maryland to play cards with his friends at the Historic Savage Mills Mall Family Game store. He adored his nieces and nephews and spent hours playing with Bailey, Trey, Autumn, and Charles. He never missed their birthday parties and loved to send cards to his family on every holiday. Sean was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor in August 2014 and underwent his first surgery to remove the tumor on his 44th birthday. Sean was the best patient, never complaining about anything other than no longer being able to drive his new car.
