Scottie was born in Muncie on October 24, 1965, the son of Judy (Bryant) Phipps, and was a 1984 graduate of Muncie Central High School.
Mr. Bryant worked for 17 years as a Pipefitter, most recently with Salyer Taylor. Scottie had previously worked with Indiana Steel and Wire. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local # 661 and #440.
Survivors include two sons, Tyler Bryant, Muncie, and Travis Bryant Muncie; his mother, Judy; the mother of his children, Pam (Arbogast) Bryant, Daleville; a special aunt and uncle, Dick and Alfretta Ellis; two special cousins, Tiffany Butler, and Rick Ellis; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
