With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott Richard Harbaugh. Scott was born in Waterloo, Iowa on November 12, 1951. He ended up moving to Colorado, where he spent the majority of his childhood in Woodland Park. After graduating, he joined the Air Force, and eventually ended up in Denver where he met his beautiful wife, Sheri. Together they have built a beautiful life and family, and have been able to travel the world together.
Scott was a hardworking, happy, and God loving man. He proudly served in the Air Force, and after, became passionate about motorcycles, golf, and guns. Scott and his wife proudly opened their mechanical engineering company, VH Engineering, in 2011, where they together have built a successful company.
Scott is survived by his wife Sheri, his children Scott (Kelli) and Megan (Brandon), his four crazy grandson’s (Jayden, Landon, Jace, and Brecken), and his younger brother and sister (Craig and Luanne). He also has two little special buddies at home, his dogs, Chewie and Pip. Chewie slept by his side until the night he passed.
Scott is predeceased by his parents, Avery and Charis Harbaugh.
