Scott Martin Toole, age 34, passed away tragically on Monday, October 10, 2022, from an accident in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Though he left this world much too young, he left an impact on all who knew him that will live on forever. Scott was a proud and loving dad to Ragnar (4) and Ryver (3). He loved and cherished them more than life itself.

Scott was born on April 2, 1988, in Honolulu, HI. When Scott was 4, he fought a good fight against leukemia and won. He had such a zest for life even then, nothing could stop him. Right out of high school he became an EMT and worked for Gold Cross Ambulance. He poured himself into that job. Scott had more ambition for his future. On November 17, 2008, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Scott loved and was very proud to serve his country. He built life-long friendships with so many fellow Marines and their families.

In 2013 Scott left the Marine Corps to pursue a career back into medicine. He became a registered nurse in May 2017. Just recently Scott stepped away from nursing to pursue working for himself. He was a man of a million ideas and could fix almost anything and he was serving others again in that capacity.

Scott was loving, generous and very adventurous. He truly would do anything for anyone, anytime. He always put helping others first. He was a loyal friend to so many. Scott had a furious love of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and exploring. He was sharing with and teaching his children all of his favorite outdoor hobbies. If you were willing, and maybe even if you weren’t, Scott was going to run you through the “Outdoors 101” course! He and his brother Jordan shared many outdoor adventures together.

Scott is survived by his children, Ragnar (4) and Ryver (3) and their mom, Megan Toole; his parents Julie and Marty Toole; sister, Amanda Skajewski (Nick); brother, Jordan Toole (Ashley Snyder), nieces and nephews Parker, Kinslee, Brea and Sawyer Skajewski; grandmother, Janice Morin and her husband, Tony Petrick, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.

The Toole family is grateful for the Nellos’ family in Albuquerque. They were truly his family away from family and loved Scott well.

A Memorial Fund account has been set up for Scott’s children.
