Scott Barone, 37, of Brighton, passed away August 29, 2012. He was born in Butte, MT on September 24, 1974 to Ben and Katherine (Andreoli) Barone. He graduated from Rangeview High School in Aurora in 1993 and attended Mesa State University. He married Sheila Wilkinson on May 26, 2001 in Aurora.
In high school, Scott was a gymnast and trained on the developmental team in Colorado Springs and was a wake-board professional. For the last three years, Scott was working for Grander, Inc. as an Account Manager and for the five years prior he worked for H.O. Sports as a Regional Sales Manager. He has lived in Brighton for the past 11 years.
Scott adored his family and his children meant everything to him. He had a nurturing personality not only for his children but for others, which showed in his coaching and teaching of gymnastics, water sports and snowboarding. He always had an optimistic view of life and was smiling and charismatic in nature. He was bigger than life in the way he lived, touching the lives of many.
Scott is survived by his wife, Sheila, of Brighton; grandparents, Jack and Charlotte Barone of Anaconda, MT; parents, Ben and Kathy Barone of Aurora; children, Cole, Isabella and Alana Barone; brother, Todd Barone of Chicago, IL.
