Scott Allen Faris, 46, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, August 12th, 2022.
Scott was born to Roger Faris and Karen Kornikoski March 24th, 1976 in Warren, PA. Scott came into the world as “Grandpa’s 5lb bag of sugar” but as an adult, you would have never been able to tell by his 6 foot 3-inch frame. He started his life in Corry, PA, moved to Concord, NC when he was seven, and found his last place of residence in Alamance County in his mid-20s. His older sister Melissa and cousins Danette & Nathan were his first best friends. He never met a stranger and easily made new friends and spent his time outside with them growing up. He took on the role, along with Melissa, of helping to take care of younger siblings Mandy and Brian once they were born.
Scott is survived by his Wife Julie Faris of Graham; his Daughters Annette Faris and son Breylan of Graham; Justeene Faris and daughter Talulah of Concord; Mother Karen Kornikoski & companion Dan Benson of Corry, PA; Siblings Melissa Gayan and husband Tyler of Cartersville, GA; Amanda Robinette and children Brayden & Carson of Burlington; Step-siblings Scott O’Daniel Jr, wife Laurel and sons J.P. & Grant of Charlotte; Amy Charnley and sons Thomas & Daniel of Charlotte; Peter O’Daniel, wife Brigid and children Jane & Ivo of Plymouth, IN and a large family of aunts uncles and cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by his Father Roger Faris; Step-father Philip O’Daniel; Brother Brian O’Daniel; Paternal Grandparents Tom and Martha Faris; Maternal Grandparents John and Etta Kornikoski and Cousin Danette Tucker.
