Sarah Marguerite Newbrough, 86, of Pittsburgh, Pa, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Newbrough was retired from Friedlander’s Clothing Store where she was office manager for 35 years. She was born in Clarksburg on October 3, 1923 a daughter of the late N. G. and Ada Grace Lowther Drummond. Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold H. Starkey, and also her second husband, Wallace R. Newbrough. She is survived by one son, Robert M. Starkey, Friendly, WV; one grandson, Thomas A. Starkey and his wife Paula, Waterford, OH; one granddaughter, Elaine Snider and her husband Randy, Kill Devil Hills, NC; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Ryan and Mariah Starkey; and one sister, Eve Douglas, Pittsburgh, PA. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James S. Drummond and Robert E. Drummond; and one daughter in law, Charlotte F. Starkey. At her request, Mrs. Newbrough will be cremated.
