Sara E. Maisano, 23, passed away Thursday June 27, 2013. She was born November 7, 1989 to Jim and Alicia Maisano in Norman, Oklahoma.
Growing up in Norman, Sara was known to her family and friends as the girly girl who liked playing dress up, putting on makeup, doing hair and nails. Sara was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and also St. John’s Episcopal Church in Norman where she served as an acolyte from fourth grade until she graduated Norman High School in 2008. After graduation, Sara began a career in phlebotomy receiving her license at Moore Norman Technology Center and began working at Norman Regional Hospital. Sara will be remembered for her love of animals especially her Chihuahua named Cora. Among the animals she loved, she had a soft spot in her heart for goats. She loved the outdoors which included hunting and fishing.
Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents Johnny R. Maisano and Mary L. Maisano of McAlester and John Ryan and Doris (Hillhouse) Ryan of Oklahoma City. She is survived by her parents Jim and Alicia Maisano of Norman; Brother Trenton Maisano and fiancée Kari Boso of Moore; sisters, Melissa Maisano and fiancé Michael Swehla and Mary Maisano of Norman and a host of family and friends.
