Sara A. Thomas, 77, of Anderson, went home to be with her Lord on October 15, 2012 at St. John’s Health System, Anderson.
She was born on February 14, 1935 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Besides being a homemaker, she also worked in retail and food service throughout the Anderson area. She was a member of Central Wesleyan Church where she participated in the choir and other ministries of the church.
Sara is survived by her daughter, Faith Greg Wagner of New Braunfels, Texas; sons, Todd Kristi Thomas of Independence, Kentucky, and James Chona Thomas of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brothers, David Mary Hinton of Anderson, and John Hinton of Middletown; granddaughter, Jill Ramos; grandsons, Jonathan McKain, Joshua Rachel McKain, Stephen Thomas, and Nathan Thomas; great gradchildren, Mercedez Ramos and Micah Ramos; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Thomas; her parents, Charles Neal and Dollie Hinton; brother, Keith Hinton; and sisters-in-law, Reba Hinton and Carolyn Hinton.
