On Sunday, October 2nd, Santos Vales, beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of ninety-three. Born to Carmelo and Martina, in Santurce P.R., he was the third of six sons. At the age of nineteen he followed his brothers and came to Brooklyn to make his life. Here he met his late wife, Mercedes and began his own family. He was well known for his love of sports, music and his dedication to family. Weekends were often spent congregating at his parent’s home in Brooklyn along with his brothers, cousins, his wife and children and close friends.
