Sandra Sue Stick, 71, of New Buffalo, Michigan died peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Franciscan Communities Hospice, Michigan City, Indiana after a long illness.Sandra was born November 10, 1943 in Michigan City to Fred and Eleanor (Gluth) Nimtz. She was an enthusiastic member of the Rainbow Girls while growing up and her family were members of St. John Church. Sandra excelled at school and was Valedictorian of the 1961 New Buffalo High School graduating class.

She was a Sunday School teacher and served as a treasurer at her church. Sandra was employed at the Bank of Three Oaks, working in their New Buffalo, Three Oaks, and Sawyer branches before her retirement. She served on the New Buffalo Bicentennial Committee and was an avid bowler. Sandra volunteered at the Harbor Country Thrift Shop. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and watching the game show channel, but most of all Sandra loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Peter Hauch of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Laura Hauch and Robert Hauch, sister Diane Kerns of Paw Paw, Michigan and nephews Mike and Matt Kerns.
