Sandy Stalowicz was born on March 22, 1950 to Eugene and Laurene Miller in Fairview, PA.
She grew up in Fairview in the Catholic Church and attended Fairview High School where she graduated in 1968.
Sandy met first husband Darrel Leopold in high school and they were married in 1970 and converted to the Lutheran religion. Sandy and Darrel moved to Waterbury, CT where she was employed at Maloney, St John, and Adkins as a legal secretary and worked there many years. Sand and Darrel had two children, Stephanie (Leopold) Anderson and Jason Leopold. This marriage dissolved in 1982.
Sandy married Robert Stalowicz in 1987 and the marriage was dissolved in 2000.
Sandy moved to Indian Trail North Calorina to be with her children and grandchildren in 2000 where she worked at Allan Tate Mortgage as a loan processor for more than 15 years and retired 2015 and then worked part-time at a local Walgreens. Sandy was a people person and could not sit at home.
Sandy began to experience health problems in 2007 with her heart. On May 10, 2018 Sandi was born into the Kingdom of God upon accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. She then stepped into presence of her Lord at the CMC Pineville Hospital in the early hours of 11 May 2018.
She will always be remembered as a mom and grandma. She had a special knack making wonderful gravies for family celebrations. Sandy is survived by her daughter Stephanie and son Jason, son-in-law Eric Anderson of Indian Trail, NC and daughter-in-law CJ Matteson-Leopold of Unionville, NC, her father Eugene Miller of Asheville, NC; brothers Rusty and Bruce Miller both of Asheville, NC and Gary Miller of Rockhill, SC. Sandy legacy is 6 grandchildren: Larkin, Amber, Jacob, Laniey, Lilli, and Landon all residing in North Carolina.
