Nekoosa, Wis. – Sandra (Sam) M. DeByl, 72, of Nekoosa, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Sam was born on June 18, 1949, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Merlin and Rosella DeByl. She attended Lincoln High School, was a graduate of Alverno College and pursued a career in international paper sales. Sam married Richard (Rick) J. Potter on August 14, 1999. He passed unexpectedly in 2020. Sam was a kind, caring and generous person who always tried to make the world a better place.
Sam was predeceased by her parents Merlin and Rosella DeByl, brother Donald DeByl, father-in-law Raymond Potter, and sister-in-law Sandra Potter. Of her immediate family, she is survived by her sister Mary (Mare) DeByl (Danny Pixler), and in-laws Debra DeByl, Betty Ann Potter, Linda Freund (Michael Murray) and Michael Potter (Linda).
